Towards the end of the 19th century, Allen Walker officially joins the organization of Exorcists that destroy the beings known as Akuma; mechanic weapons made by the Millennium Earl with the suffering souls of the dead. Allen has both a cursed eye and an anti-Akuma weapon as an arm, bearing the power of "Innocence", a gift given to him as an apostle of God. Allen, along with his fellow Exorcists must put a stop to the Millennium Earl's ultimate plot that could lead to the destruction of the world and all who live on it.

Watch it?I would consider this a Naruto or Bleach if they kept making the anime.The story and action was all there and i loved it. Things started to heat but if you don\'t like anime\'s that live you knowing there\'s more and not going then don\'t watch. Either way this is a good show overall!!
the one that could have surpassed them allthis is an anime that truly is deserving of the title epic. first the plot. u would think a plot of good vs evil loosly based of the bible wouldn\'t work but it does. the character development is some of the best ive ever seen. each character is unique and doesn\'t fit any of the typical stereotypes. u will feel for them laugh with them and cry for them. the villains in this anime are some of the most ruthless u will find anywhere.[spoiler-allen vs tyki first fight]in few animes are the villians as well fleshed out and popular as the main characters but they are here. u will learn to love to hate the earl and the noahs. the music in this series is hands down the best in any anime.some shows have an epic fight song or great opining or ending but this show has epic music throughout. roads song lalas lullaby and musician are just a taste of what this show has to offer.the only downsides are 2. first this show is a slow starter. it will take about 30 episodes for it to truly hook u. second and the biggest was that it was cancelled in its prime due to the author having health issue. the manga still continues as a monthly but there is no clear sign of the anime ever returning. i truly believe that if it had continued to air it might have taken the crown form the big 3[bleach,naruto,one piece] d.grayman u truly were epic and will sorely be missed.
# 1To me D.Gray Man is one of my favorite anime/manga. But sadly the creator of the manga has some complications and the manga is now a monthly manga :( Thank to that the story is slow in the manga but anime is all enoghf for me it has everything a anime should have like lots of action adventure characters well developed and comedy.
Worth a look seriouslyOh Allen Walker you will be missed! Shocked this was canceled. You can tell they only scratched the surface of its potential...If they would have continued this anime it would have been one of the best ever!
For one this anime had the best villain ever!!! The Earl is truly ruthless! seriously you love to hate this guy.
....if you liked Naruto you will like D. Gray-man. This is high praise but I feel this anime is second to only Naruto in terms of Universe and Character Development. Layers and Layers of material on each character.
